Job Title              :   Jr. Project Manager

Job Location       :   Reston, VA

Duration              :  Long Term

Interview              : Phone+ Face to Face/Skype

Visa Status          :  US Citizen, Green Card, GC-EAD and H1B only.

 

Description :

Client in Reston, VA is looking for  Jr. PM's for long-term contracts in Reston, VA.  Face to face interview would be preferable, but may be able to skype for the right candidates.  These contracts can last for years.  They are using the attached Project Manager position description, due to the fact that they don't have a Jr. PM Position Description.  Jr. PM's only need to have 2 years of experience and Software Development-Industry experience. 

 

Please use the attached Position description and the bullets below for your search.  The Junior PM only requires 2 years' experience and the below are items that are not mandatory for the Junior PM role.

 

•             Interfacing with Program Management for commercial items.

•             Represent Openet stakeholders at customer meetings and presentations.

•             Mentoring and review of engineers leveraging individual skills to maximize effectiveness.

•             Providing clear leadership to the team and making informed decisions on various options presented. 

•             Experience of development methodologies (SCRUM) 

•             Formal Project Management certifications (PMP, CAPM, PMI-ACP, PMI-SP, etc)
